Episode Three | Real Love
Friday Feb 14, 2020
Friday Feb 14, 2020
In episode 3 Fiona Stewart, Jen Robertson and Neil Glover take another deep dive into the passages in the latest section of Bible 2020. After some mildly hysterical chat about what theyād like to see more of on the video wall, they share some suggestions for creating a regular habit of Bible reading, before turning to the idea of Love.
Love is about feelings and words, but itās also about practicality. How do we respond to Godās love for us? How do we show love for one another in such a way that people find Jesus? And why is it that Godās love is most evident in the lives of those who are powerless and weak?

Episode Two | A Good God
Friday Jan 31, 2020
Friday Jan 31, 2020
Join host Fiona Stewart alongside Jen Robertson and Neil Glover as they read and speak the words of the Bible together in 2020.
In this episode, Jen, Neil and Fiona talk about the latest section of Bible 2020 readings, focussing on the character of God as he reveals himself in his word.
How much is our view of God influenced by our culture or Greek mythology? How does God describe himself? And do we misunderstand Jesus? Is the God of the Old Testament the same as the God of the New Testament? And for those of us living in 21st century Scotland, how does God choose to reveal himself in a context where Christianity is a minority faith?
Meanwhile, there are some recommendations of how to read more deeply on the subject, weāre introduced to a man called Marcion, and we learn what Jen keeps in her downstairs toilet.Ā
